Building Overview

Pigeon & Prince, the private events venue of BRG Hospitality, features a farm driven menu with dishes that highlight local, seasonal ingredients. The name is in honor of the space’s previous incarnations as a bedsit for visiting royals and a home for carrier pigeons. Pigeon & Prince offers a unique variety of private dining spaces that are sure to meet the needs of your special event.

The Parlor

80 seated / 110 standing

The ground level event space is ideal for larger parties, with its open layout and warm, inviting decor. This floor features a gorgeous glassed-in wine cellar in the bar area. Access to the elevator and staircases is reached via the first floor.


Balcony Room

With its high ceilings, sparkling chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows, the second level event space has a regal, ballroom feel to it. The exposed brick of the walls, dating back to the 1800s, highlight the beauty of the storied building and its place in historic New Orleans.


Third Floor

48 seated / 75 standing

Soft lighting illuminates the exposed wood beams on the ceiling of the third floor, giving this event space a rustic, woodsy charm that lends itself beautifully to sit-down dinners and intimate cocktail hours.



65 standing with limited lounge seating (including terrace)

An open and atmospheric space perfect for any cocktail reception gathering with chic lounge furniture and ambient lighting. 



75 standing (including penthouse)

Lit with expansive Italian lighting and greenery, the rooftop terrace can accommodate a myriad of occasions offering outdoor seating, and featuring cast iron and Peruvian Mahogany cocktail tables & a vertical herb garden from reclaimed heart pine provided by GoodWood.
